2024 - 2025 Student Board of Directors

The Texas Bank and Trust Student Board of Directors program is designed to introduce students to banking and money management at a critical point in their lives, while providing them with essential building blocks to earning, spending, saving, and investing money.
Applications for the 2024 - 2025 Texas Bank and Trust Student Board of Directors will be accepted Monday, January 22, 2024, through Friday, March 1, 2024 (due by 11:59 PM).

Students:  You will need to complete your portion of the application in one sitting, so have ALL of your letters of recommendation ready to upload when you are completing the application.  Before you begin the application process, you will need the following:

  • Personal email address
  • Parent/Guardian email address
  • School Counselor email address
  • Two signed letters of recommendation.  Letters should be from school faculty and/or a non-relative in your community.  You will need each letter as an individual file (PDF or image) to upload during the application process. 

Before starting to complete your application, you will need to verify your identity.  To verify your identity, enter the password (112025). 

Once you, the student, have completed all parts of the application, electronically signed and uploaded your two letters of recommendation, you will enter an email address for your parent/guardian (Participant 1) and an email address for your school counselor (Participant 2).  You will then complete your application by submitting it.  It will be routed to your parent/guardian, via email.  They will sign and submit it to route to your school counselor for entering your GPA and their signature.  After your school counselor submits your application with their signature, your final application is routed to the Student Board team.

The student will receive email notification once their completed application has been received.
The interview portion of the application process will begin in mid-March.  Students will be notified via email of their interview schedule.  Interviews will be conducted mid-March through March 31.
The selection process begins at the completion of the interviews and will take 6 to 8 weeks.  Students will be notified of their acceptance status via a mailed letter.
