(Longview News Journal - Sunday, April 8, 2012) - Three employees of Texas Bank and Trust Co. have been promoted.
According to an announcement made by Rogers Pope, bank chairman, Sheri Parish was promoted to senior vice president and assistant manager, Chris Hendricks was promoted to vice president and network operations supervisor and Shawn Hawkins was promoted to administrative officer and network administrator in the bank’s technology division.
Parish joined the staff of Texas Bank and Trust in March 2000 as internal auditor and later moved to the operations area where she served as the bank’s privacy officer. With more than 19 years in the banking industry, she works in the bank’s technology division and is a member of the technology steering committee and Texas Bankers Electronic Crimes Task Force.
A graduate of Gilmer High School, Parish holds a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from The University of Texas. She has completed courses in operations, technology and compliance through IBAT, MISTI and Texas and American Bankers Associations.
Hendricks has been employed by Texas Bank and Trust since June 2000. Named Employee of the Year in 2001, he works in the information technology center, specializing in information security.
He holds A+, Inet+, Network+, and Microsoft Certified Professional and SANS GIAC/GSEC certifications.
Hawkins has been employed in the information technology field for 12 years and has been with Texas Bank and Trust since April 2003. As a technology assistant for the bank, his duties range from desktop/end-user support, network infrastructure support, server support and technology support to the bank’s affiliates in Lindale and Overton.
