TB&T's Student Board of Directors to Launch Small Businesses to Raise Money for Charity

Texas Bank and Trust Student Board members have been divided into teams of seven to launch a small business this month. 

Each team must launch its small business from an approved list of operations, sometime between March 1 - March 31, 2012, with a $100 loan from Texas Bank and Trust.  The teams will be raising funds for a charitable organization of
their choice.

Each team has selected from its members a Chief Executive Officer, a Chief Financial Officer, an Operations Manager, a Risk/Security Officer, and three employees to run its business.  Each team has been assigned a TB&T officer to serve as a business advisor for the year.

Each business will be required to repay its loan by the April board meeting.  The team recording the highest net profit for its business after repaying its loan will be named and promoted as TBT's "Small Business of the Year." Texas Bank and Trust will make a monetary contribution match to the winning team's charitable organization.
