Texas Bank and Trust has been notified of a breach at Target Stores nationwide that has put VISA accounts at risk. The breach occurred through a network intrusion reported by Target for transactions at stores between November 27 and December 15, 2013.
In an effort to secure account information with the least amount of interruption, please note the following:
VISA® CHECKCARD HOLDERS
If you used your VISA® checkcard at Target during this time period, we ask that you please stop by any Texas Bank and Trust branch location at your earliest convenience for an instant issue of a new VISA® checkcard. If you prefer, you may also contact our Bank Card Risk Group at (903) 252-3123 or (903) 252-3181, or toll-free at 1-800-263-7013 for immediate assistance in mailing you a replacement card.
VISA® CREDIT CARD HOLDERS
If you used your VISA® credit card at Target during this time period, please contact our bank card representatives immediately at (903) 252-3180 and (903) 252-3177 to call and cancel your credit card. A replacement card would be issued by mail within ten (10) days.
Once you have obtained your replacement VISA® checkcard or credit card, PLEASE destroy your card at risk and contact those companies with whom you have made arrangements for automatic billing against your previous VISA card to provide them your new card information.
If you have any questions or experienced ANY recent unauthorized activity on your card, please contact our bank card representatives immediately. You are not liable for fraudulent transactions made on your card as a result of the aforementioned breach.
