LONGVIEW, TEXAS -- Wendy Writt was honored as the “2012 Employee of the Year” at Texas Bank and Trust Company, according to an announcement by Bank Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Rogers Pope.  This annual award, determined by the bank’s officers, is based on attitude, loyalty, dedication, and enthusiasm, and was presented to Mrs. Writt during an employee awards dinner held on March 26.

Mrs. Writt has been in banking for ten years, the last four of which have been at Texas Bank and Trust.  She has recently moved from the Public Relations Division to the Human Resources Division.  Mrs. Writt is a graduate of the Leadership program offered to select employees at Texas Bank and Trust and she serves on the bank’s Service Improvement team.

Mrs. Writt serves on the board of directors for Because I Care, a Longview, Texas, based volunteer recruitment group which supports the national marrow donor program, Be The Match.  She also serves on the Longview Regional Healthy Women committee.
