This academic year, Texas Bank and Trust celebrates its third anniversary of the Student Board of Directors.  This group of outstanding high school seniors has demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to community service.  We are proud to introduce the following 2011-2012 Student Board members:

     BRIDGET REILY is a senior at Robert E. Lee High School.  She serves as president of the Texas Association of Future Educators club and as secretary of the National Honor Society.  Bridget is also a member of Young Republicans and the Bible club.  She has participated in The University of Texas at Tyler Emerging Leaders Conference and was nominated to serve on the Congressional Youth Leadership Council.  Bridget plans to pursue a communications degree, possibly at Texas A&M University.  She is active in student ministry at Green Acres Baptist Church and also volunteers in the children’s ministry.  Bridget is the daughter of Sandra and Scott Reily.

     JOSIAH TAYLOR, son of Betty and Tom Taylor, is a senior at Grace Community School.  He is a member of the National Honor Society and serves as president of the Spanish club.  Josiah plays tennis on the varsity team and is also involved in drama and one act plays through the Fine Arts program.  He has participated in the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) District and State Academic Competition and also TAPPS State Ensemble.  Josiah plans to major in international studies or finance in college.  He is an active community volunteer working with Meals on Wheels, Soup Kitchen, and has participated in M-Fuge mission trip-Costa Rica missions.

     MORGAN COOPER will graduate from Grace Community School where she serves as editor-in-chief of the yearbook and librarian for the school orchestra.  She is a member of the Spanish club and the leadership council.  Morgan has also played on the varsity volleyball and varsity basketball teams and participated on both the TAPPS academic and music teams.  She plans to major in biology, apply to medical school, and become a pediatric neonatologist.  Morgan’s interests and hobbies include reading, babysitting, and spending time with her family.  She has participated in mission trips to Colorado and Georgia with Sylvania Church.  Morgan is the daughter of Jaimie Cooper.
