Texas Bank and Trust celebrates the thirty-sixth anniversary of Student Board of Directors, recognizing outstanding high school seniors who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to community service. We are proud to introduce the following members of the 2013-2014 Student Board.

Chandler Michaels is a senior at All Saints Episcopal School where she is a member of the National Honor Society and a student senate officer.  She is co-editor of the literary magazine, holds office in the choir and theater, and is an award-winning member of the debate team.  Chandler is a member of the green club and serves on the admissions team, which involves tours and presentations to prospective students.  She is active in the sports program at All Saints, playing both tennis and soccer, and is also a cheerleader. Chandler is a member of the Tyler Junior Symphony League and a volunteer at the East Texas Crisis Center.  She plans to study advertising at The University of Texas at Austin with a future career goal in creative advertising in either Austin or New York City.  Chandler is the daughter of Dr. James and Kelly Michaels. 

Jordan Caraway, son of Tammie and Keith Caraway, is a senior at Robert E. Lee High School.  He is a Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) participant.  This prestigious program recognizes students for their leadership and service activities.  Jordan is a member of the varsity baseball team and was recognized by the Best Players in the United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA) 2011 edition for baseball. He is also a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), and both Save the Children and Spanish clubs.  Jordan is a volunteer at the Discovery Science Place and the Boys and Girls Clubs of East Texas.  He plans to attend Texas A&M University and major in engineering, with a long-term career goal of becoming a successful petroleum engineer with an energy and technology company. 

Reagan Richardson will graduate from Grace Community School in the spring.  She is a member of the National Honor Society and has earned special recognition in math and science.  Reagan is a four-year member of the women’s varsity soccer team, receiving all-district honorable mention, and serves as a Cougar Dribblers coach.  She is also a member of the award-winning ASHIRA! Concert Choir and performs with the Grace Church choir.  Reagan is a community volunteer for the Salvation Army and Toys for Tots.  She plans to attend The University of Texas at Tyler and major in pre-vet medicine with a minor in business.  Reagan is the daughter of Susan and Bobby Richardson.
