Texas Bank and Trust celebrates the thirty-sixth anniversary of Student Board of Directors, recognizing outstanding high school seniors who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to community service. We are proud to introduce the following members of the 2013-2014 Student Board.
Erick Gonzalez is a senior at John Tyler High School and is the son of Rosa Salazar and Francisco Gonzalez. He serves as president of the National Honor Society and is historian for the Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) club. Erick is involved in the sports program as a member of the varsity tennis team. He is also a talented musician and participates in the fine arts program as a three-year member of the varsity orchestra, where he is first chair in the viola section. Erick would like to major in business management and plans to attend Stephen F. Austin State University. He plans to graduate with his bachelor’s degree and have a successful career.
Madelene Williams is a senior at Grace Community School where she is a member of the National Honor Society. She plays on both the varsity volleyball and soccer teams and has been a member of the All District teams in both sports. Madelene shares her love of music as a member of the Philharmonic Orchestra and the Grace Small Ensemble Orchestra, advancing to all state in both, and is a member of the Junior Symphony League. She is also a member of the Ashira Choir and the Grace Small Ensemble Choir and has advanced to all state in both choirs as well. Madelene plans to attend Abilene Christian University and major in communication diseases and disorders with a career goal of becoming a speech pathologist working with special needs children. She is the daughter of Cindy and Trent Williams.
Witt Seeber, son of Kristen and Joey Seeber, is a senior at Robert E. Lee High School. He serves as executive vice president of the student senate and is vice president of Young Republicans. Witt was one of ten students chosen to attend the Emerging Leaders Conference held at The University of Texas at Tyler. He is active in the sports program as a member of the varsity golf team. Witt is also a member of the Junior Symphony League and Young Life, a Christian ministry for high school students. He plans to be a business major but undecided on his college choice at this time. Witt would like to go into commercial real estate development after college.
