Texas Bank and Trust celebrates the thirty-sixth anniversary of Student Board of Directors, recognizing outstanding high school seniors who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to community service. We are proud to introduce the following members of the 2013-2014 Student Board.

Jonathan Bunt, son of Stacey and Brian Bunt, is a senior at Pine Tree High School.  He is a member of both the Peer Assistance and Leadership Students (PALS) and BUCS organizations and serves on the school leadership team.  Jonathan is a member of the varsity cross-country team and a regional qualifier his sophmore and  junior years.  He is the 2013 PTHS Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) representative and is active with the Mobberly Baptist Church youth leadership group.  Jonathan plans to attend Texas Tech University and major in exercise science, with a future goal of becoming a physical therapist or physician’s assistant.  7

 Courtney Alexander is a senior at Longview High School where she is an International Baccalaureate student and a representative for the National Honor Society.  Courtney is also a member of Z-Club and plays on the varsity tennis team.  She was the recipient of the Outstanding Academic Excellence Award in the President’s Education Awards Program.  Courtney plans to attend Texas A&M University and major in nutrition, with a future goal to attend culinary school and open her own restaurant.  Her interests and hobbies include cooking, baking, snow skiing, and traveling.  Courtney is the daughter of Brenda and Steve Alexander.  7

Duke An, student of hosts Mellissa and Charles McCreary, is a senior at Trinity School of Texas.  He is an exchange student from South Korea and has attended TST since his freshman year.  Duke is a member of the National Honor Society and serves as student council secretary.  He is a member of the history, chess, and Spanish clubs, and also participates on the school’s track team.  Duke is also an active volunteer for Habitat for Humanity during the summer.  He would like to attend business school upon high school graduation and plans to apply to both The University of Texas at Austin and the University of California, Berkeley.
