This academic year, Texas Bank and Trust celebrates the thirty-fourth anniversary of the Student Board of Directors, a group of outstanding high school seniors who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to community service. We are proud to introduce the following 2011-2012 Student Board members:
JAIME RAMIREZ is a senior at Longview High School. He is a member of the National Honor Society, student council, and the Spanish club. Jaime serves as vice president for crime stoppers. He plans to attend the University of North Texas and major in international business/accounting, with a future goal of opening his own business. Jaime is active in the youth program at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. His interests and hobbies include spending time with family and friends, listening to music, watching movies, and spending time on the computer. Jamie is the son of Nelda Mancha.
MARGARET (MAGGIE) LITTLEJOHN is a senior at Longview High School. She is a member of the National Honor Society and participates in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. Maggie has served as drum major for the Lobo Band the past two years and is also a majorette. She plans to major in psychology at the University of Oklahoma and eventually earn her Ph.D., possibly in industrial psychology. Maggie attends Trinity Episcopal Church. She enjoys equestrian sports, water and snow skiing, and scuba diving in her free time. Maggie is the daughter of Dr. Stephen and Amy Littlejohn.
DANYELLE MATHIS, daughter of Annetta and John Mathis, is a senior at Longview High School. She is a member of the Z-Club and is a varsity majorette for the Lobo Band. Outside of her school activities, Danyelle serves as president for the Longview Oil City Chapter of Top Teens of America. She also serves on the Longview Beautification Committee and volunteers for the city-wide cleanup program. Danyelle plans to attend Texas Christian University and major in communication advertising and broadcasting. She attends Galilee Baptist Church and is active on the church drill team. Danyelle’s interests and hobbies include twirling, cooking, and shopping.
COLTON MCCASLAND will graduate from Longview High School. He is a member of the Interact club, the Future Business Leaders of America, and participates in UIL accounting. Colton is the Lobo baseball team manager. He plans to major in general business at Texas State University and then earn a master’s degree in finance. Colton’s future goals include attaining his broker and appraisal licenses. He is an active member of the youth program at Mobberly Baptist Church and his hobbies are golf and wakeboarding. Colton is the son of Dava Brown and Gregg McCasland.
