This academic year, Texas Bank and Trust celebrates the thirty-fourth anniversary of the Student Board of Directors, a group of outstanding high school seniors who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to community service.  We are proud to introduce the following 2011-2012 Student Board members:

     BRIANNE LEMMON, daughter of Dallas and Brian Lemmon, is a senior at Trinity School of Texas.  Brianne plays both varsity basketball and varsity volleyball for the school.  She also serves as senior class president and is a four-year member of Z-Club.  Brianne plans to study psychology at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas.  Her future goal is to obtain a degree in law enforcement or corrections. Brianne is active with her church youth group and participates in mission trips.  She enjoys all sports.

     BRADEN KING will graduate from Longview High School in the spring.  He is a member of the varsity LOBO football team.  Braden has received recognition as an All-American Scholar and is on the Honor Roll with Distinction. He plans to study pre-med but is undecided on his college choice at this time, possibly Baylor University or Dallas Baptist University.  His future goal is to become a dentist.  Braden is active in the youth group at Mobberly Baptist Church and was selected to be a member of the Leadership group.  His interests and hobbies include fishing and basketball.  Braden is the son of Rhonda and Chuck King.

     JAKE DIPASQUALE is a senior at Longview High School and is the son of Dr. John and Pamela DiPasquale.   He is a member of the National Honor Society, has been listed on the Honor Roll with Distinction all four years of high school, and participates in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. Jake is a member of the Interact club.  He plans to attend The University of Texas in Austin and possibly pursue a career in medicine. 

     AROOJ QUMAR is a senior at Spring Hill High School where she is a member of the National Honor Society and serves on the student council.  Arooj is a member of Leaders’ Core and has won numerous awards in University Interscholastic League Academics.  As a gifted artist she has won or placed in many art competitions. Arooj is undecided on her college choice at this time but plans to major in business and accounting.  Her goals are to become an accountant and she also would like to be a part of organizations that make a difference in the world.  Arooj is the daughter of Salma and Qumar Zaman.
