Texas Bank and Trust celebrates the thirty-fifth anniversary of Student Board of Directors, recognizing outstanding high school seniors who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to community service. We are proud to introduce the following members of the 2012-2013 Student Board.
Blake Bruyere, son of Sara and Cris Bruyere, is a senior at Pine Tree High School. He is a member of the Pine Tree Varsity golf team as well as a student trainer for the athletic program. Blake is a mentor to Pine Tree’s youth through the Peer Assistance and Leadership Students (PALS) program. He participates in the work study program at Good Shepard Medical Center. Blake plans to attend Texas Tech University and major in athletic training/sports and exercise science. His goal is to become an athletic trainer for a professional or college sports team.
Sarah Fogle is a senior at Longview High School. She is a member of the National Honor Society, the Anchor Club, and Future Business Leaders of America. Sarah is also a participant on the University Interscholastic League (UIL) accounting team. She is active in youth leadership at Mobberly Baptist Church and enjoys going on mission trips. Sarah plans to attend Oklahoma State University and major in mechanical engineering. She hopes to someday be a missionary, helping to build wells in third-world countries. Sarah is the daughter of Ann and Ward Fogle.
Heath Jordan, son of Charlotte Jordan and Ken Jordan Jr., is a senior at Pine Tree High School. He is a member of the Distributive Education Club of America (DECA) and the Interact Club. Heath is also a member of the cross-country team. He has a keen interest in politics and is a Patriot Academy State Representative. Heath was selected to be a volunteer at the Republican National Convention this year in Tampa Bay, Florida, and has been a speaker for We The People-Longview rallies. Heath plans to enlist in the United States Air Force upon graduation.
