This academic year, Texas Bank and Trust celebrates the thirty-fourth anniversary of the Student Board of Directors, a group of outstanding high school seniors who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to community service.  We are proud to introduce the following 2011-2012 Student Board members:

     ABBY GRAHAM is a senior at Longview High School.  She is a member of the National Honor Society and Z-Club, and participates in the International Baccalaureate program.  Abby is a recipient of the Rotary Youth Leadership Award.  She plans to obtain her degree in psychology at The University of Texas at Austin and her future goals include applying to dental school.  Abby is employed at Racquet and Jog and she enjoys music and tennis in her free time.  She is also active in the youth group at First United Methodist Church.  Abby is the daughter of Judy Harper and Bill Graham.

     LACY BRIDGES is the daughter of Ruth and Chester Bridges and will graduate from Longview High School this spring.  She is a member of the National Honor Society and cheers for the Lobos as a varsity cheerleader.  Lacy is undecided on her college choice at this time but plans to continue her interest in science and major in biology.  Her hobbies and interests include enjoying time spent with family and friends and working as a car-hop.

     WHITNEY FORD has been active in the sports program during her four years at Pine Tree High School.  She serves as captain on the varsity volleyball team, plays on the varsity basketball team, and is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  Whitney is also active in Z-Club and the Peer Assistance and Leadership Students (PALS) organization.  While undecided on her college choice at this time, Whitney hopes to obtain her degree in interior design or architecture.  She is active in the youth group and serves as a junior diaconate at First Christian Church. Whitney is the daughter of Tamme and Greg Ford.

     COLTON KINCY is a senior at Spring Hill High School and is the son of Charlotte and Jeff Kincy.  Colton has served as a student council representative since the 7th grade and is a member of the National Honor Society.  He is UIL team co-captain for Current Events/Issues and Social Studies and has received an Excellence in Writing Award.  Colton also plays varsity baseball for the Panthers.  He plans to attend The University of Texas at Austin and earn a degree in either chemical engineering or orthodontistry.  Colton attends Spring Hill First Baptist Church and enjoys participating in community service.

     KARIS WARREN, daughter of Carolyn and Wendell Warren, is a senior at Longview High School.  She is a member of the percussion section in the award-winning Lobo band and involved in theatre.  Karis also participates in UIL Computer Applications and UIL Science.  As a member of Red Oak Missionary Baptist Church she serves on the praise team and usher board, sings in the youth choir, and is involved with Sunday school ministries.  Karis plans to obtain her Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist degree at The University of Texas at Austin and one day own her own clinic.  She enjoys reading and acting.
