This academic year, Texas Bank and Trust celebrates the thirty-third anniversary of the Student Board of Directors, a group of outstanding high school seniors who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to community service. We are proud to introduce the following 2010-2011 Student Board members:
HANNAH MCDONALD is a senior at Longview High School where she serves as captain of the Viewettes, president of the Latin club, and is a member of the National Honor Society and Student Council. Hannah also belongs to both the Z-club and science club. She is undecided on her college choice at this time, but does hope to attend medical school. Hannah enjoys running, spending time with family and friends, and dancing on a competitive team. She is the daughter of Dr. Glenn and Shelley McDonald.
HALEY ALLEN, daughter of Jessica and Kelly Allen, is a senior at Spring Hill High School. She has played on both the basketball and softball teams and has served on the Student Council four years, this year serving as president. Haley also serves as class president and is a member of the National Honor Society. She plans to study nursing at the University of Texas at Tyler and then attend Baylor College of Medicine with hopes of becoming a surgeon. Haley attends Lifebridge Christian Center and enjoys being with friends and family, singing and dancing or anything with music, and reading.
LAUREN HARRIS is a senior at Pine Tree High School. She is a member of the Pine Tree Pride marching band and also a majorette, and participates in Z-club, Spanish club, and Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America. Lauren serves as STUCO treasurer and is involved with Ready, Set, Teach. She is an active member of her church youth group and sings in the church choir. Lauren plans to obtain her degree in elementary education at Brigham Young University. She is the daughter of Sally and Wesley Harris.
