Texas Bank and Trust celebrates the thirty-sixth anniversary of Student Board of Directors, recognizing outstanding high school seniors who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to community service. We are proud to introduce the following members of the 2013-2014 Student Board.
Lindsey Mallory is a senior at Pine Tree High School where she is a four-year member of the award-winning PT Pride marching band and performs with both the jazz band and wind ensemble. Lindsey has advanced to all region band and state solo and ensemble. She competes with the spelling team as a University Interscholastic League (UIL) participant. Lindsey is involved with the Peer Assistance and Leadership Students (PALS) program where she mentors elementary school students both academically and socially. She is a volunteer with Teen Court and the Good Shepherd Junior Volunteer program. Lindsey plans to major in business at The University of Texas at Austin with a future career goal in advertising. She is the daughter of Gloria and Steve Mallory.
Kaitlyn Miller, daughter of Stefanie and Scott Miller, is a senior at Pine Tree High School. She is a member of the National Honor Society, is a Student Council representative, and a member of the Leadership program. Kaitlyn is involved in the PT sports program as an athletic trainer for both the football and baseball teams. She also participates in both high school and competitive cheerleading. Kaitlyn is a member of the Good Shepherd Medical Intern Program and volunteers for numerous school and community projects including Red Ribbon Week, the Homecoming Carnival, both the Cystic Fibroses and Pennies for Pasta Leukemia Drives, and Longview Community Ministries. She plans to attend either the University of Arkansas or Texas A&M University. Her long-term career goal is to become a neonatal nurse.
Tiana Taylor is a senior at Longview High School and the daughter of Robyn and Shun Taylor. She is an International Baccalaureate student and a member of the National Honor Society. Tiana is a three-year member and captain of the Viewettes Drill Team and is also involved in Z-Club, a young woman’s service organization sponsored by the Zonta Club of Longview. She is a member of the choir and the praise dance instructor at her church. Tiana’s interests and hobbies include dance and reading, and she has worked at Louis Morgan Drug No. 4 while in high school. She plans to major in pharmacy at Louisiana Tech University and eventually work at a large hospital, possibly, in the Dallas area.
