Texas Bank and Trust celebrates the thirty-sixth anniversary of Student Board of Directors, recognizing outstanding high school seniors who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to community service. We are proud to introduce the following members of the 2013-2014 Student Board.
Brianna Seidel is a senior at Longview High School where she is a member of both the National Honor Society and the National Honor Society of High School Scholars. She is an International Baccalaureate student, a People to People student ambassador, and involved in student council. Brianna is active in the fine arts program at LHS, serving as president of the theater department and performing in musicals and one-act plays, and is also a member of the award-winning school choir. She plans to major in accounting and business management at The University of Texas at Austin with a long-term career goal of earning a degree in fashion marketing and owning her own boutique. Brianna is the daughter of Lyn and Clint Seidel.
Alexis Scoggin, daughter of Vicki and Rex Scoggin, is a senior at Longview High School. She is a member of the National Honor Society and serves as Z-Club president. Alexis is active in student council and participates in DECA (Distributive Education Club of America). She is a four-year band member and majorette with the award-winning Big Green Marching Machine. Alexis is an active member at First United Methodist Church, serving on mission trips and volunteering at Asbury House and Newgate Mission. She plans to earn her degree in business at Texas State University in San Marcos and then attend a Culinary Arts Institute. Alexis hopes to become a chef and one day open her own restaurant.
Allison Johnson is a senior at Longview High School where she is involved in the International Baccalaureate program. As a gifted musician, Allison is first chair violinist with the school orchestra, advancing to all-region. She also performs with the Longview Area Youth Symphony Orchestra. Allison is active in the youth program at Mobberly Baptist Church, plays in the worship band, and works in the children’s department. She plans to attend the University of California-Los Angeles, and study music with a focus on vocal performance. Her long-term career goal is to become a musician with the ability to produce her own music. Allison is the daughter of Delcine and Wade Johnson.
