     This academic year, Texas Bank and Trust celebrates its inaugural year of the Student Board of Directors in Tyler.  This group of outstanding high school seniors has demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to community service.  We are proud to introduce the following 2009-2010 Student Board members:
    
     RICHIE BOOTH, son of Janet and Dale Booth, is a senior at Robert E. Lee High School.  He serves as treasurer for the National Honor Society, is a member of the Spanish club and Young Republicans, and participates in the student work program.  Richie plans to attend Texas A&M University and major in finance, with a certificate in international business entrepreneurship.  He hopes to earn his master’s degree in finance. His future goals include serving as a Journeyman missionary for the International Mission Board and having a career in international business or sales.  Richie enjoys music, travel, missions, and singing in the Praise Alive choir.

     KRISTIN BJORK is a senior at Grace Community School where she is a member of the National Honor Society and the Student Leadership University.  She is actively involved in her school’s sports program, serving as captain of the varsity volleyball and basketball teams, and former captain of the track team.  Kristin also plays club soccer for Sting.  She plans to study pre-med at Dallas Baptist University, where she has received a soccer scholarship.  Kristin’s future goals include a successful pediatric practice and becoming a wife and mother.  Her interest and hobbies include athletics, nature, and spending time with friends.  Kristin is the daughter of Tosha and Randy Bjork.
