This academic year, Texas Bank and Trust celebrates the thirty-first anniversary of the Student Board of Directors, a group of outstanding high school seniors who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to community service. We continue our introduction of the 2008-2009 Student Board with the following students: CAITLYN GRIFFIN attends Longview High School and is a member of Student Council, UIL Computer Applications, and National Honor Society, and has played Lady Lobo varsity golf. She is active in youth activities at First Baptist Church. Caitlyn plans to study business at the University of Arkansas and hopes to teach overseas someday. She is the daughter of Missy and Keith Griffin.
KATIE BURNS, daughter of Melinda and Mike Burns, is a senior at Pine Tree High School, where she is a majorette in the Pine Tree Pride Band, and a member of PALS, serves as historian and social chair of Z-Club, and belongs to the National Honor Society. She enjoys singing in her church choir and playing the guitar. Katie plans to attend Baylor University and wants to work in Christian ministry.
