This academic year, Texas Bank and Trust celebrates the thirty-first anniversary of the Student Board of Directors, a group of outstanding high school seniors who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to community service. We continue our introduction of the 2008-2009 Student Board with the following students:

 BRIAN CLEMENT, son of Elizabeth and Richard Clement, attends Pine Tree High School and is a member of BUCS, Crimestoppers, Student Council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Teen Court, Young Republicans, and the golf team.  He belongs to the National Honor Society and the National Museum of Education in Akron, Ohio.  Brian plans to attend Texas A&M or the University of Arkansas and earn a business and/or engineering degree.

 MACY MCWILLIAMS is a student at Longview High School where she serves as senior editor of both the yearbook and newspaper, is a majorette in the band, and is a member of Z-club, Amistad, and the National Honor Society.  She plans to attend Texas A&M or the University of Arkansas and major in architecture.  Macy is the daughter of Margaret and Marc McWilliams.

 ALEX GRUBBS, son of Debbie and Rick Grubbs, is a senior at Longview High School.  He is a member of the Lobo golf team, Student Council, and the National Honor Society.  Alex plans to attend Austin College, where he will major in pre-med and pursue a career in dermatology.

 ANNITTA GARCIA attends Pine Tree High School and is the daughter of Maria Ana and Andres Garcia.  She is a member of the Spanish club, Leadership, and the National Honor Society.  Annitta plans to major in nursing at Stephen F. Austin University and become a pediatric nurse.
