This academic year, Texas Bank and Trust celebrates the thirty-second anniversary of the Student Board of Directors, a group of outstanding high-school seniors who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to community service.  We are proud to introduce the following 2009-2010 Student Board members:

     TRACE POPE is a senior at Pine Tree High School.  He is an officer with the Thespian club, webmaster for Thespian Troupe 2309, and is a member of the National Honor Society.  Trace also serves as secretary for School for Schools. He plans to major in music theatre at Oklahoma City University and aspires to become an actor.  Trace enjoys theatre, music, guitar, and piano.  He is the son of Carol Pope and Rogers Pope, Jr.

     STEPHANIE SMITH, daughter of Melinda Able and Terry Smith, is a senior at Longview High School.  She is a member of the Viewettes, the Z-Club, and the National Honor Society.  Stephanie will attend The University of Texas at Austin and study pharmacy.  She wants to travel the world and experience other cultures after college, and enjoys dancing, traveling, listening to music, and hanging out with friends.

     MICHAEL FISH, son of Kimberly and Melton Fish, is a senior at Pine Tree High School.  He serves as co-vice president of BUCS, is a member of Student Council and The Pride Band, and performs in the theatre. Michael plans to attend Baylor University, possibly join the ROTC, and major in psychology.  His hobbies include playing the guitar, video games, football, water sports, and being with friends. 

     KATIE CHAMBERLAIN is a senior at Pine Tree High School where she serves as military officer for the Precision Drill Team and is a member of Student Council and Z-Club.  She plans to study pre-veterinarian medicine at Texas A&M University.  Katie’s interests include dance, drill team, and animals.  She is the daughter of Marion and Danny Downing.
